Privacy

RAMen is built to keep what happens on your Mac on your Mac. This page explains the little information that does leave it.

What the app reads

RAMen reads the list of running processes, their memory use and what started them, using standard macOS system calls. It shows this to you in the menu bar and nowhere else. None of it is stored, logged or sent anywhere.

License checks

When you activate RAMen, and occasionally afterwards, the app sends your license key and a name for your Mac to Lemon Squeezy to confirm the license is valid. Nothing about your processes, files or usage is included.

Purchases

Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record. They collect your name, email address, billing country and payment details to complete the purchase and send your receipt. Their handling of that data is covered by the Lemon Squeezy privacy policy. We receive your name, email address and order details so we can provide support.
